Elaine Snyder-Conn

We live by the grace of water, yet rarely consider what is happening to water resources around the world. Elaine will address the many challenges we face, including overabundance, scarcity, and pollution.

Elaine holds a PhD in biology with an emphasis in aquatic sciences. She has served as a visiting assistant professor at NC State University and the University of Alaska and spent 23 years with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, primarily as an environmental contaminants specialist. She later served as Deputy Field Supervisor at the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s Daphne Field Office.
