New Beginnings
On Easter Sunday, April 5, we will have a circle to share our experiences with “new beginnings.”
Easter is one of the highlights of the Christian traditions. Celebrating Easter in the spring denotes new awakenings of nature. The Easter Bunny is a folkloric symbol of Easter that brings eggs. Easter eggs symbolize new life, rebirth, and even resurrection, with traditions dating back to ancient fertility rites and early Christian practices. To use “resurrection” in a non-secular sense means “the revitalization or revival of something.” Most of us have at one time or another time been “revitalized” or felt “renewed.” We hope to recall and share how it happened and what it meant to us.
